Scott directs all phases of acquisition, finance, asset management and day-to-day firm operations for Pine Grove. His two-decade career is accentuated by his generalist real estate background investing across property types, geographies and for various capital sources in both institutional and entrepreneurial environments.

Before Pine Grove, Scott served as a Principal at HighBrook Investors, a $1.8B real estate private equity firm, where he led acquisitions, asset management and hiring/training of real estate professionals in Atlanta and New York. Prior to HighBrook Investors, Scott served as a Managing Director and Fund Manager for Reynolds Capital Group, a $175 million private equity fund sponsor focused on buying and repositioning distressed residential master-planned communities. Scott joined Reynolds Capital Group from Morgan Stanley where he served as a Vice President of Acquisitions, sourcing, closing, and managing investments for the flagship Prime Property Fund, MSREF funds, and numerous separate account clients.

A proud Atlantan, Scott earned his BBA in Finance and Management Information Systems from The University of Georgia, later becoming a CFA charterholder. He is a Member of CFA Institute Atlanta, a coach and a mentor, and, most importantly, a husband and father of three.
